2021 Pinot Noir

Vineyard Information:

Trinity Oaks 2021 Pinot Noir was sourced from premier California vineyards in Lodi, Clarksburg and the Central Coast that use sustainable growing practices. Cover crops like flowers, oats, & barley are grown between the grape vines to naturally enrich the soil, boosting ripeness within the fruit. The cover crops also lure beneficial insects to the area, protecting the vines from predators.

Winemaking:

Harvested during the cool mornings in Sacramento County and the Central Coast, the grapes were brought into the winery at a cool 55 degrees. The wine was aged upright for six months to add complexity and round out the tannins.

Tasting Notes:

Strong aromas of juicy berries complement ripe red cherry flavors. This medium-bodied Pinot Noir with herbal notes and hints of violet has a smooth, toasty oak finish.
