Trinity Oaks 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon was sourced from premier California vineyards in Lodi-Delta and coastal counties that use sustainable growing practices. Cover crops like flowers, oats, and barley are grown between the grape vines to naturally enrich the soil, boosting ripeness within the fruit. The cover crops also lure beneficial insects to the area, protecting the vines from predators.
After fermentation in stainless tanks, the wine was aged in American and French oak, with infused with French oak staves, to round out and soften its rich, black cherry and currant flavors.
Dark, enticing aromas of ripe blackberries and juicy raspberries. Notes of green olive, dried herbs and vanilla complement robust black cherry flavors. This wine is full-bodied with a smooth, rounded finish and pairs well with grilled steak or eggplant parmesan.
