2014 Merlot

Vineyard Information:

The grapes for this vintage are 50% sourced from Lodi (Clarksburg) and 50% sourced from Monterey Coast. These exceptional California vineyards give us high quality fruit that is needed to create this wine’s superior, supple taste.

Winemaking:

After a 10-day fermentation, the wine was aged in American and French oak uprights to add texture and roundness. 70% Infused with French oak staves.

Tasting Notes:

Bright red cherry and sweet black plums with notes of spice, tea, and vanilla. Medium-bodied on the palate, the wine is supported by soft, supple tannins and pairs well with lamb, pork and grilled salmon.
