2011 Pinot Grigio
The grapes for this vintage were harvested from our vineyards in the cool Sacramento Delta Region, Lodi AVA, and Santa Barbara County.
In classic Pinot Grigio style, the wine was cold fermented at 50 degrees Fahrenheit to retain the fresh fruity aromas and flavors. No oak aging or malolactic fermentation was used.
This Pinot Grigio has subtle aromas of citrus, melon, pears, and apricot. On the palate, the wine is crisp and fresh, with plenty of juicy flavors, a light note of minerals and refreshing acidity. Trinity Oaks Pinot Grigio is a perfect aperitif or enjoyed with a summer green salad with smoked chicken tossed with a pear vinaigrette.
